Frequently Asked Questions

Is this scientific calculator free?
Yes, completely free. No account, no subscription, no ads interfering with the calculator.
Does it support trigonometric functions?
Yes. sin, cos, tan, and their inverses (arcsin, arccos, arctan). You can toggle between degrees and radians.
Can I use my keyboard?
Yes. Number keys, +, -, *, /, Enter (equals), Escape (clear), Backspace, ^, (, ) all work.
How does memory work?
M+ adds the current value to memory, M− subtracts, MR recalls the stored value, MC clears memory. An "M" indicator shows when memory is active.
Does it follow order of operations?
Yes. The calculator uses proper mathematical precedence: parentheses first, then exponents, multiplication/division, addition/subtraction.
Can I calculate factorials?
Yes. Enter a number and click n! to calculate its factorial. Supports values up to 170!.
Is my data stored?
No. All calculations happen in your browser. History is session-only and clears when you leave the page.
What is the difference between DEG and RAD?
DEG mode interprets trig function inputs as degrees (360° circle). RAD mode uses radians (2π circle). Most everyday calculations use degrees.
Does this work on mobile?
Yes. The calculator grid is responsive and works well on phone screens.
