AI Face Blur

The tool uses TinyFaceDetector from face-api.js, a lightweight neural network optimized for fast face detection in browsers. It analyzes the image looking for facial features — eyes, nose, mouth — and returns bounding boxes around each detected face with a confidence score. Unlike server-based services, the entire detection runs locally using your device CPU through JavaScript. The 6MB model downloads once from a CDN and is cached by your browser. After the first load, face detection works offline. TinyFaceDetector is optimized for speed over maximum accuracy: it handles most photos with clearly visible, front-facing faces well, but may miss heavily occluded or very small faces.
